Jacob D. Smith is a Principal of LKCM. He joined the firm in 2006 and serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for the LKCM Funds. Prior to joining LKCM, Mr. Smith was an enforcement attorney with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and corporate/securities attorney with Haynes and Boone, LLP. Mr. Smith graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Arkansas and received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Southern Methodist University School of Law.

Anna V. Nikiforova, CFA, IACCP, joined LKCM in 2013 and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining LKCM, Ms. Nikiforova was the Chief Compliance Officer of Corriente Advisors, LLC and the Head of Business Affairs group at Q Investments. Ms. Nikiforova graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maryland University College and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.

Richard W. Lenart, CFP®, joined LKCM in 2005 and serves as Secretary and Treasurer for the LKCM Mutual Funds and Aquinas Mutual Funds. Prior to joining LKCM, Mr. Lenart was Vice President of The Aquinas Funds, Mutual Funds Manager for 1st Global Capital Corp, and a mutual fund investment representative for Fidelity Investments. Mr. Lenart graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Meredith K. Mercer, CPA, joined LKCM in 2021 and serves as the Director of Accounting for LKCM Headwater. Prior to joining LKCM, Ms. Mercer was a senior audit associate for KPMG. Ms. Mercer graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University.

Jo Njai joined the firm in 2022 and serves as a compliance associate. Prior to joining LKCM, Ms. Njai worked in client account services and as a financial service representative at TD Ameritrade, and an office manager and auditor at Hersha Hospitality Management. Ms. Njai graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas at Tyler.

Molly H. Slusher joined the firm in 2024 and serves as Deputy General Counsel of LKCM and LKCM Headwater Investments. Prior to joining LKCM, Ms. Slusher was General Counsel of Blue Star Innovation Partners and a corporate and securities associate for Jackson Walker L.L.P. Ms. Slusher graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.
